Spider Man - Peter Parker

In the TV show Spiderman with Peter Parker played by Tobey Maguire, it sometimes shows Peter Parker bare chested.

At those time you see clear muscles and definition.

My question is, is that how Tobey Maguire's chest look like? Or is it a picture of a stand-in actor or airbrush or other techniques?

I pretty sure they airbrush everything in most movies, in any case.
