respected sir/madam,
I am Aarthy from chennai..i have got placed in a software company through on -campus interview.I am yet to join.the company has provided me with a URL and specified a user id along with a password for me so that i am intimated about the joining date throught that.there is a data-base including my details in that web page.every detail is right but my UG branch has been mentioned wrong.i dont know if it is so important that i mail them and ask them to change that even before joining the company.
so kindly help me

I would send a short, courteous note to your contact person asking that the errors be corrected.
You would be demonstrating that you're an individual with an eye for detail who can take action independently.

what is a UG branch?
if it isn't a big deal, it can probably wait until you have been there for a few days...
I'm guessing it means undergraduate branch.
