Hi Real Life
If that's the case, my apologies (I was going from memory, which is rather old now).
As I'm curious, and the link you provided didn't take me to a proper page, do you have the bible reference? I still have my bible with me, though I don't read it these days unless something like this makes me curious
You might try cutting and pasting the link into the address line of your browser if clicking the link didn't work.

Just wunder'n
Three reporters are sent to cover the same story. What happens? You get who, what, when, where, why, etc. But you don't get it verbatim. Each sees the same story perhaps from a different angle and/or notices different details. Still the same basic story. Four Gospel writers covered the same story in a similar fashion.
that flashing yellow one
Sorry, I thought it was a bit much too.
omniscient and omnipotent
Every Scripture of prophecy reflects foreknowledge. However there are Scriptures that also indicate the selective or discretionary exercise of God's powers of foreknowledge.
One example points to an examination made by God of a situation then current and a decision made on the basis of such examination. After wickedness developed at the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, Jehovah advised Abraham of his decision to investigate (by means of his angels) to "see whether they act altogether according to the outcry over it that has come to me, and, if not, I can get to know it." (Gen. 18:20-22; 19:1) God spoke of ?'becoming acquainted with Abraham,' and after Abraham went to the point of attempting to sacrifice Isaac, Jehovah said, "For now I do know that you are God-fearing in that you have not withheld your son, your only one, from me."?-Gen. 18:19; 22:11, 12.
Don't Forget the Leftovers
How much food was left over after Jesus miraculously fed thousands?
On two occasions Jesus Christ miraculously fed thousands of persons. Once, with but five loaves and two fishes, he provided enough food for five thousand men, besides women and children. After everyone was satisfied, twelve baskets were filled with fragments. (Matt. 14:19-21) The original Greek term for "basket" appearing in this account is also applied to the Boeotian measure of about two gallons. So the twelve baskets of fragments may have amounted to approximately two and a half bushels. In connection with the later feeding of a crowd of more than four thousand with seven loaves and a few fishes, there was a surplus of seven "provision baskets" full. (Matt. 15:34-37) This type of basket was larger, at times big enough to hold a man.?-Acts 9:25.
taking that word and using it in way's he never intended
Most people tend to ignore warnings!
18 "I am bearing witness to everyone that hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll; 19 and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city, things which are written about in this scroll. (Revelation 22:18-19)

none of that supports your belief that God doesn't have absolute foreknowledge. just because he sent an angel to scout the situation and then allowed abraham to plead for the righteous, doesn't mean that God didn't know the outcome of the whole situation before it took place.
nor is it a sound basis for your belief that God knew nothing of adam and eve's downfall before they were born. (which is how this debate began) are you still going to support this view even when scripture (1peter) shows that your wrong?.
none of that supports your belief
Thats your point of view and I respect it. Thanks Kate.
