Karl Rove predicted in a Washington Post article today that future Presidents of the United States will embrace President George W. Bush's doctrine of preemptive war. The statement came when the top White House adviser was asked what the 43rd president's legacy would be.

By the time the next president takes office, the damage done to this country and this world by Bush's pre-emptive war doctrine will be seen by all for what it really is: an abject failure, bringing only unitendend consequences so grave that whatever problem its was supposed to solve only got worse.

The true legacy of George Bush is destruction of the Consritution and Bill of rights, the reputation of this country, and the destruction of a a country which had the grave misforture to sit over one heck of a lot of oil this administration wanted to control.

Political land-grabs require initiative. GW Bush has brilliantly put on his "stupid face" and just gone up and taken what he wants. Because he can. We certainly let him.

Riches go to whoever takes them first, and the American people have certainly let Bush manipulate and bluff his way like a master, into expanding his national interests.

You gotta hand it to him.

Cheney is the one who should take the credit for most of what has happened during the Bush administration. Bush didn't put on a silly face. Bush was selected by Cheney et al because he is stupid.
