Quite often.

But, these are very nice, clean, modern, full kitchen convenience stores. There is one near Paducah Ky, that has awesome chicken, in many shapes and forms...strips included...and the biscuits are top of the line....almost addictive, it takes a lot of will power just to drive past the store without stopping. We have a local chain of stores, in Southeast Mo...that all serve the same menu...and around lunch time, they get packed, just as busy as Burger King or McD's.

Edgar had a thread about KFC, and in there I told about how our local KFC's all sucked...so I guess the niche is being filled by gas station chicken.

Now, a "gas station" of the Goober/Gomer Pyle calibre, those are few and far between anymore...but I doubt that's what you are asking about.
