Tai Chi, I went through St Catherine's (and other places) on way to Niagara - do you live that way?

Not now -- we live north of Toronto -- but we used to live in Hamilton. If you took the skyway you'll have seen the steel works. Most of the city is prettier thank goodness. Did you enjoy the falls? Pretty awe-inspiring in winter with all the ice, eh?

@McTag,
I was thinking of you one day last week also smorgsie. I just got caught at a red light and during my temporary removal from economically productive activity I had time to look at the shops. There was an old fashioned haberdashers just across the pavement with a window display of corsets and other lingeriacal items in pink and black. I remember thinking that I bet smorgsie would look fetching in that kit.

Indeed I would Suspendius!

Today however, I will be wearing something from my Spring/corporate wardrobe.

Probably black, with pink underneath.

Have a great day everyone - going to put my bin out - I hate bin day.

@smorgs,

Today I'm wearing my tattered jumper with the hole in the elbow.

By the way, Naz on Sky weather cannot wear a pencil skirt like Lucy, my fave. And her knees are a bit lumpy.
But you wouldn't kick her out for eating biscuits in bed.

Did you realise you can get Holland's steak and kidney puddings in a four-pack, frozen, from Farm Foods which is what I did and I had one for lunch with my leftover carrot and onion concoction....lovely.

My pal from Wigan when he orders a pudding and chips from the chippy calls it a baby's 'ed. Or maybe a baby's yed. I can never tell what he's saying, exactly.

The Holland's ones are smaller than a baby's head, though.

Mornin' all!

My friend from Wigan calls them 'baba-shed'. Which means baby's head also - allegedly. And they order them with 'pea wet', which is the juice from mushy peas. I don't think mushy peas should be that watery - snot natural.

Have you been to 'Alberts' in Didsbury yet McT?

2 x courses for £10.00 at lunch.

No. I didn't get where I am today by eating out a lot.
However, a woman at the college says the restaurant at 4 Warburton Street is good, quality scran and good value. It's in a wee cottagey building near the junction with School Lane. Maybe we'll give it a try. When the boat comes in.

@McTag,
She's a little thick for being a runway model.

I'd still gladly spank her, though.

Shame on you McT - I thought you were a Guardian reader?

And it's just been International Women's day.

Anyroadup - give us a hand with me photo, I can't do it, I'm a girl!

Most of us don't want to see one single more bleedin' picture of somebody's hols ever again so unless it's unlike anything we've ever seen before don't bother. It's so hard to make conversation about them you see because it's so frustrating having to be dishonest with people about such pictures. And one wouldn't want to be dishonest with people one is sufficiently friendly with to have them show one their holiday snaps.

But if it's something special I'm all eyes.

@smorgs,

It was in the Guardian I saw the picture which convinced me she needed corporeal correction.

If you can't get Tico's photo thing to work, come back and I'll tell you. It's easier to do than to talk about.

@InfraBlue,
75p for each spongy turnip in Tesco - it's an outrage!

Needless to say I didn't purchase. Got a small swede instead.

I managed to upload my interesting picture, but it was tiny? Don't know what happened - it's normal size on my PC. I deleted it - fearful of Suzzies scorn.

Made a cauliflower curry and mopped the floors...

My life.

I think I replied to you personally Infrablue. Didn't mean to - it was just a general comment on the price of turnips and my mundane life - but hello anyway.

@smorgs,

Photos....I use Photobucket, as a "host". I don't have any problems with them.

You just download your chosen pics to them, they will tell you how, and then use the ID given to each photo to post an IMG or image on A2K.

Thinks.....Why don't we all put up a picture of ourselves on the thread?

It needn't be nude.

I bet Spendy and Tico are just dying to show off.

Maybe it was an orange.

I got some strawberries in Tesco this morning. A big big mistake, and I'm embarrassed to tell you what they cost.
