anyone noticed how stretched thin he's looking lately? I know that the presidency ages people.... but he's looking really downbeat and showing the effects of stress.

Serves him right to suffer I say.

Dick Cheney on the other hand seems TOTALLY unchanged, hasn't aged a day. Different species is my thought on that.

I'm still curious about his health. I SWEAR that was some sort of box on his back during the debates. I don't actually think it was funneling answers to him, but I really think it was something, and some sort of health device seemed to make the most sense.

Not tellin' would seem very much in keeping with his personality/ need to project strength, plus has presidential precedent (Roosevelt, Kennedy).

Except, that, as usual, you have no factual basis for your notions. Have you seen anything anywhere in the news to indicate that he's unwell or in any type of pain?

Brandon this is not a debate so put away your navy blue blazer and calm down. It's just a little conversation. If sozobe wants to speculate that bush might have a health problem it's her right and she need not justify a personal feeling to anyone especially a bush apologist like you, so go back to whatever it is you do with your slide rule, please.

Bush visits Alabama school ripped apart by a tornado.

He does look weary and has aged quite a bit.

I apologize for the Navy blue blazer remark. I realize that's probably way too vibrant a color for you to be comfortable in.

Sure, if you promise to stay out of all my discussions from now on.

and what opinion did you express? I missed that. I just saw you challenge sozobe on something that did not require a challenge.

It gives the impression that you have some sort of bush ass kissing radar that sets off a buzzer in your brain every time someone makes any statement that might go against your apparent hero worship of him.

A claim has been made that Bush may be unwell and in pain. I asked whether you have any actual evidence to lend plausibility to your wishful thinking.

no poindexter... the claim has not been made... the speculation was aired, with no claim to authority.

Could it be that he is just beginning realize the damage his presidency has done to this nation and that sticking his head in the sand will only earn him a swift kick in the ass.

I hope you're prepared to back that claim with hard cold imperical fact or Brandon might smack you with his hardback edition of the rules of parliamentary procedure.....

Even speculation should have some facts of some sort to lend it at least plausibility. I could speculate that you're responsible for a string of unsolved murders, but without anything more to suggest it than wishful thinking on my part, it's just so much nonsense.

It's absolutely fascinating that your only two methods of supporting your ideas are (a) insulting the person who challenges them, and (b) asserting that the challenge is inadmissible.

the challenge is inadmissable..... listen to Perry Mason..... you kill me.... not 120 seconds ago I told squinney you'd think about this a minute and then come back to declare victory in a non contest.....

We all should.

Geez.Rolling Eyes

No one said that the man was in ill health. No one. There's no need to back up a claim if one hasn't even been made.
