Actually, I think this is a sign of what will ultimately be her downfall, it's impossible to be a senator and have a consistent record. Even with limited time in the senate, I bet she gets painted as a waffler/panderer like Kerry did. I think Obama has a much better chance of becoming the first senate-to-president politician in a long time, if only for his extremely short stint in it.
