Here's My Idea for Iraq

take all, ALL our US and coalition troops and put a perimeter around the entire border of Iraq. No one in, no one out. Make it clear that not a US or coalition weapon will be discharged, not one bomb set off, except to enforce the ONE simple rule of US policy. No one in, no one out. then tell them they may continue to slaughter themselves into the stone age until they are ready to behave.

Will the country be ravaged? Yes. It already is. Will innocents be killed?Yes. They already are. Will human rights be trampled? Yes. They already
are.

Will it save American lives and keep troops out of harms way comparatively? Yes. Will it put the responsibility of cleaning their own house on the Iraqis? Yes. will it prevent interference of outside agitators? Yes. Will it be cheaper? Yes.

Would millions of people be exterminated in short order, Yes.
Would a significant segment of the Muslim community have a right to hate us more than ever? Yes.
Would this be tantamount to performing the genocide ourselves? Yes.
Would the rest of the world look on us with even more disdain? Yes.

If we keep up unsuccessfully as we have been will millions be slaughtered? Yes. But not our boys with my idea.

Does a more significant number of the Muslim popultion hate us every day and do you think our currently proposed "solution" will change that? Are you shitting me?

Is there anyone outside of a couple of countries whose business interests coincide with uours that don't publicly disdain us?
