The U.S. government is looking for any excuse it can find to start a war with Iran. I'm quessing if they don't find one they'll probably stage another gulf of tonken style incident in order to kick off a war. Just like they did with Veitnam. Any attack on Iran could easily kick off world war three. Everyone needs to keep watching this situation. That way if they do start a war with Iran we will all know who to blame.

Blue,
From your own link...

Quote:
The 30-ton rocket could also be a wolf in sheep's clothing for testing longer-range missile strike technologies, Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine reports in its Jan. 29 issue

Now,as to the Carrier battle group that the navy has moved into the gulf, lets remember one thing.

The gulf is INTERNATIONAL WATERS,free for the passage of anyone.
If moving a carrier group in international waters is considered a threat, then are you making the argument that moving them between the US mainland and Hawaii, also international waters,is also a threatening gesture?

Deploying the Stennis Group to The Gulf isn't a threat, its merely a reminder. Now, if Whiteman AFB and Langley AFB were suddenly to go on lockdown and impose media blackout, THAT would be a threat.

If the United States decides to go to war against Iran; Iran's Revolutionary Guard's complicity in the killing of Americans is more than adequate Casus belli. There is no need to invent anything. They are already at war against us. We would simply be responding.
