Sandy got off pretty easy, he could've got 20 years in prison. Oh well, he is important, afetr all. Rolling Eyes
I wonder why this report wasn't released before the elections.

Compare what Berger did to what Scooter Libby allegedly did & who's the worst villian? Why aren't more dems condemming Berger?
That's a rhetorical question, everybody knows why

The only thing worse than a knee-jerk liberal is a knee-pad conservative.

Yes it's true Bill was and remains a conservative; That's the main reason I never voted for him.

I honestly don't understand DOJ on this one. They go after Libby with a vengence for what....nothing, (lying to the FBI about something that didn't happen) & knowing that the leak of outing a CIA analyst came from the State dept, knowing. What is it about the Clinton admin that DOJ & other LE agencies allows Clinton & his cronies to get by with all this stuff? I mean, there must be some powerful blackmail material there someplace. I suppose all those private investigators Clinton had on our payroll has paid off, look for Hillary to use them too in her upcoming campaign.

Good, he should've been castrated.

Parker J. Bena, Republican activist and Bush Elector, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography (including children as young as 3 years old) on his home computer and was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison and fined $18,000.

I honestly don't understand DOJ on this one.

I would think 30 months in prison and an $18,000 fine for child pornography of a 3 yr old would be serious enough to warrent a longer prison sentence.

The point is, however, that this tit for tat of who (republicans or democrats) are the worst offenders is really quite inane unless the point is just to find something to carp about (or just to piss off a liberal) It is, however, extremely juvenile and usually more like we would expcet to see from McGentrix.

Child molesters, IMO, should be castrated, a frontal lobotomy wouldn't hurt either since pedophiles problem starts in their head & works it's way down, & I don't care what political stripes they are.
As for the tit for tat, yeah, there's plenty of rot on both sides. However, that was not the intent of this thread. The topic is Sandy Berger & why he got by with what he did. How do we know what he did with those documents? They supposedly put our national security at risk, so who has those documents now? What foreign power could be reading them now? Why is he still a free man?

Well, maybe so; all I can find is the Berger confess and pleaded guilty, avoided a prison sentence and paid a $50,000 fine all in 2005 (Bush DOJ-Republican Congress. The only find I made (other than blogs) was Fox News who opined greatly about corrupt politicans (corrupt dem politicans)
