I guess it wasn't enough to name an airport after him.

Gee, maybe they'll have another 4 days of televised ceremonies to honor the stiff.

There go the soap operas again!

Who knows, maybe they'll replace Pike with Bob Byrd, since their backgrounds are rumored to have been similar.

I don't want him back - he killed near-free higher education, to, in my opinion, our country's vast brain deficit.

Oh, and, past that, the benefit of the state's individuals for creative intellectual life.

In 1960, if you got into UCLA, when I did, you could go. I think my first semester cost $19.00, my second, 26, and, perhaps my third, 76.00..

not including books and just life. But... an ordinary person could have a chance at doing it.

Reagan killed that.

Yet we spend trillions on wars.

In 1968/69 we were at Mather AFB, Sacramento, Ca when Reagan was Governor. The man served two terms, so say what you want about him, it seems that most voters in Ca liked him well enough to re-elect him.
A question, do you believe that RR was the cause of major costs for a higher education all across the country? That's what happened about the same time. Rolling Eyes

They are making a statue of Reagan? In my opinion Reagan was responsible for the beginning of the end of this country for the working man.

If they are going to make a statue of him, make sure they put it face down in the dirt so we can screw him like he screwed us.

surely that hair of his is still alive, couldn't they just astro turf some part of dc with that

the reagan presidency heralded the great christian rightasization of the republicans, and the end of sane discourse on alot f topics, notably science

i was rather upset when he finally left office, and then all these years later died, i had pegged him as the antichrist, if any such being exists, i felt that at the time he had the best shot of fulfilling the roll

the assasination attempt nearly sealed it for me
