This is earth shattering news? Harriet Miers stayed on for quite some time after her USSC nomination was withdrawn, so what does it mean now that she's resigning?

Bush has got to go. I was hoping that one of the major news services would run a poll asking.

Should Bush finish out his term

Should Bush resign

Should Bush be Impeached.

What is your problem with the US Constitution? You don't get to decide whether Bush goes or stays, that's for Congress. Now, if the dems can come up with something to impeach Bush on, fine, until then, get used to vetoes for the next several months, almost 2 years.

What's your pronblem? Are you afraid to see how the American people feel about Bush remaining president.
As for the constitution, Bush has shown little respect for it and it's principles.

Yes that does put us between a rock and a hard place. However, since he is probably the president as it stands now we will just be cutting the middle man out.

The plausible thesis is that the WH has no confidence that a girl can handle the avalanche of subpoenas heading their way.
