mesquite, I LOVE Leo! Love him. Ok, I'll try to control myself. Thanks for posting those photos, kid. (Love dem boids.)

osso, Bonobos, the kinder gentler chimp. Wonderful (if somewhat overly horny) animals. Feeling all maternal toward those babies. Wonderful, touching faces. Thanks to you, kid, too, for posting.

A dear friend sent me two gorgeous bird books for my birthday (not today), so I'll be posting even more than the usual number of bird pictures. Fair warning.

osso, For some unfathomable reason, the link froze my computer. Had to control/alt/delete offline to escape. I take your word for it that the bears are beautiful. Not a great leap of faith. Thanks for posting.

Was guessing it would work for you. Who knows, it worked for me then but might not now.

Carry on, Nurse.

satt, Thanks for the stunning cat. Never heard of this one. Thought I had at least encountered all the cats on the planet. I wonder what other surprises there are.

hamburger, Thanks for the hedgehogs. They are cute and definitely should be sitting in inflatable boats.
