@Roberta,
Roberta? Do we really need to see a nudist beach for horses? Wink

@vonny,
This reminds me of a picture Francis showed of his own koi pond, though his photo was more pone encompassing. Probably not still linked here.
Anyway, nice.

@Barry The Mod,
Righto - that's why it seems so familiar. Similar dog at the least. I suppose more than one person on earth takes such a photo, but it made me wonder. I was very fond of Francis and plain old loved that photo of his.

You know me, I'm an odd one for wanting to know who the photographer is, if available, and get testy on some occasions. Usually here we just don't know. I try to shut up. I know most are happy to see the photos and that photo ownership is getting to be an oxymoron, things are hard to trace. And that who took the pic is not the point of this thread.

But that one rang a bell. Maybe Francis has put it on another site, might be a crop of his.

@ossobuco,
I posted a version of that photo either in the dog house or here a couple of years ago osso - the good stuff is oft repeated over time. Love GRs.

Can't see the link, damned ocean or my computer. I suppose it is here on a2k somewhere. It also might be one of the few photos I saved, but on the other hand, I might have had a computer melt since then.

I admit to cropping people's photos for corgi avatars twice, the snow runner and the corgi football team. Or three times - there was the corgi big smiler. I put the link on my profile when I do that, but who could guess.

Hah, I did save it, twice, listed as Francis dog and koi.
Seems I haven't had a blotto computer crash since April 2011.

Snap!

@ossobuco,
I found your original posting http://able2know.org/topic/89445-558#post-4715156

My dog photo image is broken now (one of the many since pixdaus changed their software) but at least if you 'open image in new tab' you get the photo at it's new address. Clever buggers.

I'm not that bright. My photo of it says

Name francis dog and koi
Kind Jpeg image
Size 70 KB on disk
Created 4/2/11 3:21 PM
Modified 4/2/11 3:21 PM
Last opened Today 5:28 PM
Dimensions 580 x 914

The second one says the same thing, including 5:28 PM, except I said francis' dog and koi

Of course Francis could have copied it, but that is way unlikely since he said (in memory) it was his pond.

@ossobuco,
Not to belabor this, but it's interesting to follow how this all works.

@ossobuco,
Moving on,
jackrabbit - I've only seen one once, looking out the window at a golf course in Las Vegas, no photo by me.

@ossobuco,
So he was kidding.

The first five minutes of life are the most dangerous...

...the last five minutes aren't crash hot either.
