Barry, Don't know what you mean about Facebook speak. That sounded like English to me. An affectionate equine. Love it.
FBM, A tiny frog. Thanks for the enlightenment. As much as I like spiders, that particular pic makes me itchy. Tres cute, arachnidally speaking. You live across the street from a rice paddy. What different worlds we live in. Damselflies are beauties. The pics are wonderful and enlightening.
HH, Love dem primates. Great pic, kid. Thanks. Does that puffer have sparkles on it? A blinged out fish? Amazing. Thanks, again.
vonny, Pigeons are among my favorites. And your photo is spectacular. The iridescence in the neck feathers is super. Thanks mucho. A water fowl I recognize. Good ole mallard. Thanks again.
I think I've shown Foxy's photo here. She was my avatar once, back when. When we first had our cottage in Venice the neighbor on one side had a golden retriever and a mallard duck. Those two were pals, and the retriever would pick up the duck and take it for a mouth ride. But things were fairly balanced, as Foxy would natter at and 'hound' the Retriever.
The Iriomote cat (Prionailurus bengalensis iriomotensis) is a subspecies of the leopard cat that lives exclusively on the Japanese island of Iriomote. It has been classified as Critically Endangered by IUCN since 2008, as the population size is fewer than 250, is declining, and consists of a single subpopulation.[1] As of 2007, there are an estimated 100–109 individuals remaining.[2]
No, Roberta - you aren't. I've seen this video clip before - sooooooo totally adorable. Makes the heart feel like bursting with love for the beautiful creatures. So lovely. Thanks for posting it!
