Barry, Is he a ring bearer? I'd trust him with a ring.

dj, Today's B is obviously not interested in getting his picture taken. He has other stuff on his mind. The O is a very cute ham. I'm bedazzled by the herons. I had no idea there were so many different kinds. I'm thrilled you now have access to the 700 bird pics. Not gonna keep count (how annoying should one person be?). LOVE dem birds.

Irish, Does the bear get to eat an Easter bunny (perish the thought)? Love the pachyderm pic. Hare. Bunny. Cute is cute.

osso, That hare looks distinguished. Like a gentleman hare.

I was looking for an animal native to biblical locations in honor of the holidays. Here's a nubian ibex:

@Barry The Mod,
That Irish wolfhound may be the only "Irishman" in the Irish Guards . It has been common practice for a long time to recruit anyone into the various regiments .

Hey, li'l buddy: Governors Island, New York, is asking for the public's help in naming a calico that washed up on the island last weekend. Her fur was salty, matted and seaweed-caked, leading island workers to theorize that she swam over from New Jersey, more than a mile away. Among the submissions so far are Nori, Taffy, Purrmaid, Gilligan and Wilson.

Before dipping your Easter egg in dye, make sure it hasn't already hatched. Otherwise you might wind up with a pretty PO'd peep. (Phaeno science museum in Wolfsburg, Germany.)

Hi you guys. Too tired to do a pic by pic today.

dj, I continue to be thrilled at the bird pics. Love 'em.

osso, I want that cat. Any cat who swims from Joisey to Noo Yawk is my kinda cat.

Happy Easter, all. And me without a chocolate bunny. Sigh.

@ossobuco,
I LOVE calicoes! She should be named after the Shakespeare heroine, Marina. (From Pericles)

Marina: My father, as nurse said, did never fear,
But cried 'Good seaman!' to the sailors, galling
His kingly hands, haling ropes;
And, clasping to the mast, endured a sea
That almost burst the deck.

Leonine. When was this?

Marina: When I was born:
Never was waves nor wind more violent;
And from the ladder-tackle washes off
A canvas-climber. 'Ha!' says one, 'wilt out?'
And with a dropping industry they skip
From stem to stern: the boatswain whistles, and
The master calls, and trebles their confusion.
