So many mouths to feed...
One of the stunning images from the BirdGuides Photo of the Year 2009 competition. Kevin Du Rose took this picture of an air-braking puffin on the Farne Islands, Northumberland, UK. The judges praised its symmetry.
I'm not sure what kind of bird this is, but he's certainly a dapper fellow.
The dapper guy is a hoopoe. Boids is amazing. Such variety and beauty.
Loving the mom and baby hippos. You gotta watch out for hippos. They kill more people in Africa than crocs or most other animals except for bugs, which carry disease.
