@Arella Mae,
That's a very rare little horse, Arella Mae. I love the way it looks. Wonder what he'll look like all grown up.

Each morning, thousands of Cape turtle doves flock to a trickling seep at Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe, the only source of water for miles around. Birds of prey, meanwhile, line up in trees on nearby cliffs and pick off the drinking doves. This young male baboon finds one of the victims on the ground

A lion just entered the frame and is drinking from the pond!!!

7 minutes later: He's gone now, but that was very cool! A few other animals showed up earlier, but although they approached the pond, they left without drinking...oh my a zebra just showed up!

@Barry The Mod,
What awesome pictures. The closest I've been to a gator was when one showed up in our pond after Katrina. He was just a baby but we got him out of there fast.

osso, Major cuteness in the dog department. I'll take one of each. Or maybe we can share.

IrishK, Dead boid, live monkey. Very interesting pic. Thanks mucho.

Barry, I'll bet you were in some fine company over the weekend. And I'll bet you enjoyed. The crocodilians are amazing animals, and those a wonderful pics, especially the water reflection in the second one. Thanks, kid.

@littlek,
Last night there was lots of activity (late) at the pond. The lion never came back, but plenty of deer and zebras. Then, this morning I turned it on first thing and saw a few deer. The sounds are way different during the day. At night there were only the sounds of crickets and that one bird. In the daytime it gets really noisy with the loud monkeys lol.
