I just learned how to scan photos and upload them. I can post some pics. Indulge me.

Here's my first cat, Miranda. The smartest four-legged animal I ever encountered. Also bossy, pushy, and bold. She once ran out my door and into the apartment of a neighbor who was having a party. The neighbor asked if she could stay. The guests liked her. Next time the neighbor had a party, Miranda was invited; I wasn't.

Patty, the sweetest, gentlest, most loving, and most lovable animal I ever met:

@Arella Mae,
Arella Mae, Glad you like my cats. Sad to say they're all gone. Haven't had a pet for several years. Sigh.

I am sorry they are gone Miss Roberta but I am sure you carry many lovely memories in your heart. I would not know what to do without my animals.

@Arella Mae,
Wasn't sure I'd know what to do without mine. I miss having a living thing around (other than me). I do have wonderful memories, and I smile when I think about all my pets--six birds, two dogs, three cats.

She sounded like she was the life of every party. What a hip cat!

Miss Roberta, I hope it's okay to ask a question on your thread. There are so many people so knowledgeable about animals here.

My baby mule is trying to heehaw. He sounds like a taradactyl. Does anyone know if you can do like you do for parrots and maybe play recordings for them so they can get the idea of what he should sound like? When JJ does this every animal in the woods takes off running (Kidding). But he does sound just like that flying dinosaur bird.

@Arella Mae,
Arella Mae, Fine to ask a question here. But you might get more responses if you start a separate thread. Either way is fine with me. I hope you get an answer.

You got that right, tsar. And she didn't like to be kept waiting.

@Roberta,
Oh, lordie, I remember Mikey. Many of us do.

First of all, he always reminded me of school cat.
But I remember him for himself dealing with you.

Thank you Miss Roberta. I think I will start another thread. I don't want to impose on yours. This is such a wonderful thread!

@Arella Mae,
Arella Mae, I honestly have no problem with your asking an animal-related question here. You're not imposing. I suggested that you start another thread because I think your question will get more exposure and more answers. If you want to keep it here, it's all right with me.

tsar, Miranda was the quintessential JAP. Champagne, please. In crystal.
