Fluorescent green suits it very well. Someone could make a fortune turning their physiological design into a line of stuffed animals for kids.

A frog hides among lily pads in a pond in Roswell, New Mexico. Today marks the second annual Save the Frogs day, which aims to raise awareness of the conservation issues threatening amphibians worldwide. Amphibians (frogs and toads, newts, caecilians and salamanders) are being affected by habitat loss, climate change, pollution, pesticides and introduced species, but face an even bigger threat from a deadly parasitic fungus known as amphibian chytrid.

tsar, The colors (and shapes) of sea slugs are amazing. Neon colors. Other-wordly shapes.

olga, Thanks for the amphibian. Glad to know there's a save the frog day. They're dying off.

@tsarstepan,
tsar, Gazelles have to fly. They're cheetahs' favorite lunch:

@Roberta,
The gazelles need to bath daily in Tabasco sauce and jalapeño juice and perhaps they can deter the cheetahs from eating them due to their extra spiciness.

tsar, You think that cheetah's can't take a little heat? Get real.

philis, Very, very cute. What is it?

Speaking of speed, here's the second fastest land animal--the pronghorn antelope:
