Otters are my favorite animals. I could only be so lucky to be reincarnated into such a species.

You just wanna bite somebody's nose. I know your type.

Deb, I missed the extra tree kangaroos the first time through. Thanks for adding. Ain't nature grand?

Izzie, Are you trying to kill me. How much pony can a goil take? Those pix are magnificent, as are the ponies. Somebody give dem guys a blanket.

@Roberta,
ahhhh.... they are so darling! Cute as the dickens. They're such tiny wee things and just have the thickest coats and tubby tummies.

There's no grazing for them at the moment so the farmers are having to take feed onto the moors by tractor and drop it by the road. The freeze here is a real problem for the animals and livestock. Bird feeders were filled today - there's not a lot about for the feathered friends either.

Knew you'd love to see a pony or two... Very Happy

Hugs goil. x

Izzie, Just had another look at the wee horses. Sigh. They're wonderful.

@Izzie,
I don't know if I already asked this ... but how tall are they (the horses) there doesn't seem to be any perspective based context to figure that out. [Compared to normal horses.]

And yep. Those beer bellies! Look much cuter on them then they do on human males. Or are they hay bellies?

keep hoping we'll have baby bunnies again some spring

about 5 years ago we had nests in the back yard for a couple of springs but nothing recently, i fear the cats that rampage the neighbourhood have scared the adults off from using our yard as a nursery (still see the rabbits in the neighbourhood which is nice)

@djjd62,
Luckily I am allergic to rabbits or else I'd have a hundred in my house.
I found all this out as a lab tech. Don't hiss. I was involved in placement of rabbits past their antisera use, and that antisera use was useful use. That was then. Not sure I could deal with all that now.

@djjd62,
You guys have got to stop with the Pygmy Rabbits. I almost broke my monitor trying to give them a carrot.

I'm beginning to worry about you, boychik. You remind me of my late, lamented cat Mikey, which is a mixed kinda left-handed--right-handed compliment. Mikey was lovable, gigantic, sweet, and not the brightest feline on the evolutionary tree. I bought a video for him (back in the day when I could afford such luxuries) to keep him occupied when I was working so he wouldn't stretch out all over manuscripts. The video was a lovely park scene with birds and squirrels. Mikey watched attentively for a few nights in a row. Then he tried to run into the television set. He nearly knocked himself unconscious and nearly knocked the tv over.

Note to the late, lamented Mikey and the not late and not lamented tsar--stuff in computers and on the tv ain't really there. It's just pictures of stuff that's there. Sorry to burst your bubble, kid.

Gotta admit that da wabbits surpass cute. But get a grip.

@Roberta,
I'll try to keep your sage advice in mind the next time I find myself compelled to shove a root vegetable into the screen of my laptop.

Domo arigato! Roberta! Smile
