@Region Philbis,
I definitely get the gist. These animals are amazingly agile and flexible. Ten from this judge. And the gold medal goes to . . . Marty.

Izzie, The pictures leave me speechless (almost). Wonderful, wonderful. Did I ever tell you about my campaign to convince my parents to get me a baby elephant? Wanted to keep it in the backyard (of a tenement)--next to my horse (another losing battle).

Sigh.

Yup, it's a great egret. How can I speak with such authority? The info is in the URL.

I've got to get my self and my scanner going.. I've a photo of snowy egrets in an Erythrina (perhaps caffra, not sure which Erythrina, more likely one of the smaller ones) tree on the Venice Canals, that is, the Los Angeles Venice Grand Canal, where the tree is bare but for the blossoms and a couple of dozen egrets. Well, for now, just picture it in your mind...

dj, Yup, looks like a young robin. Sweet thing. The bee is in herbs? Those are herbs? They look like flowers to me.
