Hey Boida.... nope, thats black kitty yesterday after they cut some of the stitches to open the eyelid. His third eyelid is still quite scraggy and has lots of tiny stitches, but they cut the ones that were keeping it joined together and hopefully the other stitches will dissolve without problem. If you look at him front on - it's more noticeable - you can still see his third eyelid... not sure if he will ever have a big eye again like before - but right now, he's looking good and it doesn't seem to be bothering him. Back to the vet in 9 days.

Thrilled that he's doing so well and looking as fine as ever.

Now I know I put a lot of the same pics up - but these bugs fascinate me... taking pics fascinates me... today in the garden, damselflies all around

The damselflies are delicate and divine, Izzie. And the photos don't look grainy at all--at least not to me. They appear crystal clear.

i followed him half way across the lawn, and when he got in amongst the wild grass he must of felt he was safe, he let me get right over top of him, even the flash didn't bother him

Izzie, Please send my warmest regards to Sky and Harvey--and you, kid. That is you with a camera in front of your face, isn't it? Love dem seagulls. These are birds I actually see on a regular basis. Thanks for reminding me how spectacular they are in the air.

I was watching a nature show. It was talking about the metabolism of hummingbirds and how much and how often they have to eat to keep from starving to death. All that pollen--and not an ounce of fat.
