@djjd62,
dj, Stunning pics. Not sure I know what I'm looking at in the picture on the right. Thanks for the link. The person who took these photos is a real talent.

the pic of the polar bear on the actual site is incredible, the sheep are also very interesting

The horses are also wonderful. Striking powerful contrast. A real find. Thanks, kid.

No, there hasn't been an alien invasion. This is a sea slug (nudibranch):

Izzie, That is one spectacular photograph, kiddo.

I looked up buzzard. In the US a buzzard is a vulture. Vultures don't catch other birds in midair. In your neck of the woods, a buzzard is a hawk.

I guess we sorta speak the same language.

Great shot.

@Roberta,
Hey Boida - he is rather a handsome fellow, isn’t he! They are everywhere here - and they never fail to amaze me - I watch them everyday.

I posted this hawk http://able2know.org/topic/126387-2#post-3502886 a while back on Endy’s thread - he was gorgeous.

Hoping to handle Ike the Peregrine in the next week - he’s not flying right now and is about to molt. We’ll see - his handler may or may not show up!!!!!! I wanted to surprise you with some photos of him - so hoping it will work out.

now this bee looks as tho he's been superimposed - but the flowers are almost translucent (amazing) and the sun was reflecting off the bees legs! Weird lighting...

Love da bugs, Izzie. Stripes and polka dots.

You have a conservatory? I thought those only existed in the game of Clue--Professor Plum in the conservatory with the candlestick.

Thanks for the great pics.

Thanks, Izzie, for the wonderful shots. Your robins are smaller than the robins I'm accustomed to seeing in Noo Yawk. Lovely little birds.
