I have seen that quite often with cockatoos and galahs, and a duck and drake.


It's heart-breaking...especially when it is road death. It just seems so sad when the death is from something they are not designed to comprehend.

I saw a documentary in which a mother baboon spent three days trying to revive her dead baby. The photos here, other similar sadnesses, tug at my heart.

Heya gus, I do believe this is the first sifaka on this thread. We've had a few relatives--lemurs. Even if there were 20 pictures of sifakas already, this one would still be wecome. You can't have too many sifakas. And we're only to happy to have reruns. Thanks for posting the stunning pic.
