I never thought I'd find a fellow American with the same Swiss chard 'n' garlic addiction. There's a down-and-dirty roadside eatery in East Texas -- oh, and another more urban(e) one in West Memphis, Ark. -- serving collards done that way (with a little broth added and a hambone because collards take longer to cook). Why do I love the south. Well, there's a reason why...
Ahh, it turned out well, I added (a pound) of gnochetti and a few tablespoons of ricotta and some parmigiano and heated a bit more and then in the dish squeezed lemons....
Well, I'm bringing it into work today, there's enough for an army.
That way I don't have to drive to Tomo's for Japanese takeout...
