I hear songs.

They are everywhere.

Same as gratitude and rich moments.

She didn't catch me spinning
but I caught her.
The way she looked
at me I began to hum.

Time disappears in the other ones arms.
Inhaling we stepped back,
exhaling we turned to go.
"See you later."
"Yeah, have a good week."
Something ... just being there.

I think she knows.

NYC, Lola? Ah, the Big Apple will be so much richer. You have good friends waiting for your arrival. Have no fears, except for the damn costs of being in that city. Expensive? Oy.

so much better, Sumac........yes, W Village for me. Wake up, go downstairs for coffee and breakfast. (to Cafe 101 or I should say, it's equivalent) laugh. can't wait. I think I won't even have a stove in my apartment......just a micro and juice in the fridge.......but yes, expensive, I agree It's an environment that is perfect for me. and on the expensive thought, I also have to have an office......but I'll manage.

Yes, I know that you will. Email me when the time approaches. I have friends there, and family outside the city, And used to have a fifth floor walkup near the corner of Sullivan and Spring.

Sullivan and Spring.........what a nice address. Great neighborhood, fun fun. I hope you're happy there in NC. It sounds like you are.......but I'd never trade NYC for any place in the world. Unless I was forced to by circumstances, of course. thinking about new plans...............

It sounds as if you have more than a passing acquaintence with the Big Apple. Sullivan and Spring used to be a working class Italian neighborhood - the kind where the local mom and pop first floor store turned into a bar at around 1 a.m. for the people getting off of work.

Good sturdy architecture, and eyes every place - all knowing and all seeing. You felt very safe walking around in the middle of the night. Bad guys had been known to get tossed off of roofs.

A number of therapists use a room in their home as an office. Then they can write off some of their living expenses.

The other side of the coin:

Never was I alone
Not lonely, not then
Till you went, away somewhere
Like the sun out of the sky.

Cold, cold was the night,
Where, where were your lips
Out there, on that ski trail
Where your absence filled me with chills

A weekend in Canada, a change of scene
Was the most I bargained for
And when I thought of you, and in your absence
I lost the love, I could have no more.

Down, down came the night
last, last, last, beat my heart
I knew when your heart left,
From that day, we be ever apart.

so i drop into my local eatery for a burger and sit at the counter (smoking section) order my ice tea and bacon cheeseburger and light up waiting to eat. 2 ladies come in and not wanting a booth sit near me at the counter, call over the waitress and complain that I am smoking. waitress tells them this is the smoking section. they respond that they want to sit at the counter and they dont want me to smoke. I offer to move to a booth, waitress smiles and says "thanks" It doesn't really take all kinds but we got them anyway.

Hmmmm. Just got my brain working, so I do hope my head will follow close behind.

As a man thinketh, so is he.
As a woman thinketh, who cares? Very Happy

Lola, say "hello" to the village for me.
Sumac, say "hello" to Nawth Carolina for me.
Oakman, Hello, to one wise old owl.

and Bo--your version of Canadian Sunset far surpassed Andy Williams. Cool ...

Where's that sweet Misti-ry of life, I need to thank her.
