Aw, shucks. Thanks everybody.

Letty, I'll bet that got your blood pumping!

I sent the video ou to the band today as well. Ben, the singer replied that it didn't sound too bad considering he was beginning to lose his voice. The Flensburg show was the next to the last of 26 shows. All the venues were smoky clubs and that really took a toll on all of their voices.

A few more photos, if ya'll don't mind. this is Ian in Salzburg on the bridge over the Salzburg River.

Salzburg is such a beautiful town. In this photo, you can see the castle called the Fortress.

In 1077, during the Investiture Controversy between Henry IV and Pope Gregory VII, which led to the 50-year civil war, Prince-Archbishop Gebhard von Salzburg built the citadel as a show of force against the Roman Holy Emperor. Source.

Of course we want to see more photos, swimy! [It's the Salzach river.]

( re the photo is posted above and before someone wonders about it: it's from the discothek's website (62 photos!).
I only had to check them before, if anything x-rated was among them ...

Thanks for the correction on the river's name. My research was not so good.

Regarding the photo you posted, I think the show was PG-rated, but Ian was pretty hot and sweaty.

I was enchanted by the castles in Austria. They are every where you turn, it seems. This is one near where Ian lives now. It's called Hochosterwitz (I think.) Here's a little history.

Unfortunately, the castle was closed until Spring, but I'll be baaack (said in my best Ahnold voice.)

The meal was shared with good friends. These folks sponsored my son and without their help, Ian and Andrea may never have become a couple.

Ah, beautiful pictures, Swimpy. I actually walked up to the castle in
Salzburg - what a view from up there....

Isn't the food outrageously good in Austria? The desserts are out of
this world.

I'm getting hungry......

I think Salzburg is where I bought a sausage, cheese, and bread, and lived off of it for a couple of days. (I was poor, but that was some delicious sausage, cheese, and bread.)

Familiar vistas, I was there just about this time of year.

Thanks!
