I came across this article about the best jobs in 2006. Most sounded pretty darn dull.

What are your candidates for the most interesting jobs?
I recently met a man who is a professional story teller . He tells stories and teaches story telling to elementary school aged children. He divides his time between two private shools where he is well paid and receives benefits like health insurance and a retirement plan. I thought this sounded like a great jig.
My second pick would be a friend who is a restaurant critic for a travel magazine. She gets to travel and eat well (mostly) all over the country on an expense account.
uh green witch ... that's a great GIG. A jig is like an Irish dance ya know.
someone somewhere right now as I type is windexing the screens in adult book store video booths...... that's interesting....
Those are great!
So, in a perfect world . . .
A friend travels to Paris to review the escargot and tells a story about having spotted Pee Wee H. inside an adult video booth while cleaning the screen . . .

A friend of mine used to do marketing for a beer company- her job was to go out each night, and buy a few beers for people with her corporate card and just hang out.

And, I know a guy who is a dating instructor/pick-up artist. He teaches 2-3 day seminars on the topic, in which they discuss picking up women, how to engage in conversation, confidence, and then they go out one or two nights and "practice". Seems like it would be a pretty cool job!
