The head of veterans affairs has come out and said that a military draft would be benificail to society but that he doesn't support it. Yeah I'm sure he doesn't support it. If he didn't support it he wouldn't say that it was benificail to society. Anyways just read the article. The American people don't support a draft right now but I'm sure that will change after the government stages another terror attack or blows up a city.

Well, duh . . . of course he doesn't support a draft. This administration has consistently stated that it does not support a draft--they aren't that stupid, they know that instituting a draft would solidify and galvanize opposition to this war.

This is the second time he tried to get the draft going. He even voted against his own bill after the 2004 election. He's trying it again. I hope it blows up in his face.
