Unlike the Nuremberg war-crimes trials of the Nazis, there will be no government officials in the dock, but rather - as detailed in my last column - prisoners against whom the United States has itself committed war crimes under the Geneva Conventions and our own War Crimes act. These crimes include their conditions of confinement and a total lack of the due process that the Supreme Court ordered in Rasul v. Bush (2004) and Hamdan v. Rumsfeld (2006)

When will the people of this country awaken from their slumber as to what has happend to this Republic, which used to be respected around the world for its rule of law?

Maybe, even though I voted no. Weren't the Nuremberg Trials based on our UCMJ system? I don't know, but I would think that the C-n-C would fall under that.....everybody but Clinton that is, & he fell under an entirely different set of rules, kinda like the OJ rules, in that he had a biased jury predisposed to defend him no matter what the facts showed.

I went to school with a girl by the last name of Nurenberg and another with the name of Nuremberg. Both were very nice young ladies and it disheartens me to know that you want to put them on trial.
