Installing a new battery will lock your alarm system and the car will not start even with the new battery. Shut and lock your door with the KEY not the remote, then unlock the door with the KEY not the remote. This will re-set your alarm system and the car will start.

Check both end of all battery wires, ignition oil, and power at the starter. Most importantly find out all defective fuse.

I have a 2006 ford fusion and my friend worked on m y car unhooked the battery an d now the car wont do anything....no lights...so alarm it doesn't even turn over can someone help me with this!!!

It takes more information than that. What sort of work did he do, for starters?
