Mapleleaf here. I was hoping some of you would checkin to provide all of us a sense of how many members we have in our area. Someday, we may want to have our own gathering, or at least, to interact re local events.

I used to live in GA. Maybe I can visit athens and make a gathering down that way some day.

this past spring, i spent some time in alabama at the horseshoe bend state park...gathering info for a book about the battle of horseshoe bend...also, most of my relatives are from alabama...sand rock...collinsville...fort payne areas...

Custom has it that the part of the state in which I live is known as Central Alabama.

Mmmmmmmm....I guess we don't have anymore folks in Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia.
