I wonder what you guys actually know about Pinochet's regime and the circumstances that brought him to power. I mean, sure Allende was the democratically elected president and Pinochet came to power via a coup, but other than that what do you actually know ?

Pinochet was one of this damn brutal dictators who violated and abused human rights through corruption and during his reign thousands of Chilenans disappeared, were tortured and executed.
There are numerous books and documentation about Pinochets terror reign,
if you care to read them.
