Yeah. I don't have the horse. But Gabby Hayes had one. He used to rescue Johnny Mack Brown all the time that way.

Yeah. Gabby was always the grizzled old sidekick of different cowboys, like Roy Rogers and at least a couple of others. He had the bushy white beard and funny manerisms. I can hear his voice now, talking through his nose, as if it had been broken once and not healed properly. "Durn it, Roy."
Beard? That makes sense after all these years. I always thought it was a tumbleweed.
