I was surprised to find so many new england states in the top ten. Why was Cali so far down the list? Healthy in cali takes too much money?

All those Cali freeways and haze must have affected their health as they don't walk much.
California is also fast food heaven. I would imagine with all that fast food and smog, it isn't as healthy for the average person in CA.
I'm surprised that Nevada, land of booze, hookers, gambling and drugs, isn't up in the top 5.
California has too many cars, factories, and population to ease the strain on our environment. That's the cost for being the fifth (or sixth) richest in the world.
I think I'll just move to Minnesota. That'll sink their little ship.
According to "Prairie Home Companion" the Scandinavian Lutherns are a clean-living and hardy folk.
New Jersy healthier than Washington? Must be because of a higher suicide rate or something. Weird.
