Well, Walter was too shy to cramp himself between the Irish, the English,
Dutch, Nepalese and whatever nation thread. So, I helped him out,
and open the official German thread.

I have a photo of the 1934 German wrestling team around here somewhere.

I remember the time Calamity Jane was over for a beer and I showed her the photo. She examined it carefully and then a smile crossed her face and she said, "Achtung, Gustav. I vould very much like to be tossed into ze ring with ze big German wrestlers. Dat vould be nice."

I don't know what part of Germany he was from though. I'll have to check that out.

I see I sounded gruff on my post back there. Didn't mean it that way, meant it more in a pro Walter/CJane way.

While in Germany and Austria recently, we enjoyed many sausage meals with beer. The ones in Nuremberg with sauerkraut on bread with mustard was just devine!
