I use this one when I need a simple online image adjustment:

http://www.myimager.com/

You can resize, and crop, and a bunch of other things I've never tried ... like do this to Reyn's avatar, for example:

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/724/68245151244889pd8.jpg


... all in cyberspace.

Craven's covered this on a current topic, but it's basically done through

http://en.gravatar.com/

you have to register there with the same e-ddress you use for Able2Know - set up your avatar there, it'll show up here in someplace between 5 minutes and a coupla hours

I've used it a few times now, playing around with avatars. I've noticed that you have to clear your temporary internet files and restart your computer. Otherwise, it won't show up when you are viewing it.
