What a nice bunch of information some guy got, so much for the Secret Service.

So how come these girls aren't in Iraq supporting the troops? - or becoming one of the troops? I think there should be a law that if your daddy starts a war you should have to go fight in it. Wait, maybe the girls are in Argentina doing undercover work, yeah they are keeping an eye on those socialist rats and their boutiques. Good job girls!

FIRST DAUGHTER HAS HER PURSE SWIPED
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (CNN) -- First daughter Barbara Bush's purse was stolen while she was in Argentina with her twin sister, Jenna, a law enforcement source who was briefed on the incident said Tuesday.

The source told CNN that Barbara Bush, 24, was "not in the immediate proximity" of the bag when it was swiped.

Other reports said Bush's purse and cell phone were taken while she was dining in a Buenos Aires restaurant.

The law enforcement source declined to provide additional details to CNN but said that "at no point were the protectees out of visual contact and at no point was there any risk of harm."

Two thieves swiped the purse from under a table while Secret Service agents were at a distance, according to La Nacion newspaper in its online edition Wednesday, The Associated Press reported. The paper said anonymous government sources didn't say which Bush daughter was involved, the AP said.

A Bush administration official confirmed "a theft incident" involving Barbara Bush in Argentina but gave no details either.

The White House and Secret Service both declined comment.

Maybe Paris did it and they're keeping it under wraps while they render her to Uzbekistan...

I wonder if the thief is smart enough to get the info and sell it to the highest bidder. Or he would have to do it on the quiet as he knows the US Govt. would be on the lookout for the stolen device.

I have memories of going to a mardi gras type celebration in Guadalajara, with a friend of a friend and another friend of a friend, plus my actual friend of the time, a girlfriend I'd pal'd to make the trip with. We got to the place at the university and it was quiet. We put our purses down under the table.

Something like six hours later, we emerged, totally meringue'd out.

And in between, I needed to seek the restroom and looked for my purse and it was gone.

My life revolved before my eyes, etc.

But, it wasn't true, the purse was there, just further away. None of those people wanted my purse. (Lifelong lesson # 36).

Thus...
I am slightly suspicious of this story re the purse, but, then again, maybe not.
