He supports the war with Iraq. How'd that happen? Joe Lieberman, hawk, ran against a wuss dove, Lieberman won. How'd that happen?
A gun supportin, anti-abortion Dem candidate in Montana won, how'd that happen? More conservative Dems won than did liberal dems.
There is hope after all.

Embarrassing, isn't it, for the new soon to be Speaker to lose her first big battle. lol
The liberals thoght that America gave them a mandate to govern as they did for 40 years. They are wrong & will be turned out again in two years if they try the same old socialist crap.

Rather obviously not.

Quote:
cliche: a trite, stereotyped expression; a sentence or phrase, usually expressing a popular or common thought or idea, that has lost originality, ingenuity, and impact by long overuse
from dictionary.com

"Rightwing nutjob" or "welfare queen" or "strong as an ox" or "Make no mistake..." are examples.

"new cliche" is self-contradictory.

Look, I'm not much interested in playing word games or power games with you. I'm trying to encourage you towards valuable contribution here. That means taking care with language and reflecting on ideas.

Ms. Mustang Ranch, sorry to disapoint, but the Moyer-Murtha thing is a minor bump in the road. It is meaningless and will be forgotten by Thanksgiving.

Yes more moderate democrats did very well in this election. What's the gloat about? that moderate dems kicked the sh1t out of wing nut repubs?

Fmr Bush Official: ""The Democrats Are The Sideshow... Bush Self-Destructing Is The Big Story In Town"...
NY Daily News | THOMAS M. DeFRANK, KENNETH R. BAZINET | November 17, 2006 at 02:12 PM

"It's hard to talk about culture of corruption and how we're going to be the most ethical Congress ever if you don't take everything into account," said Rep. Eliot Engel (D-Westchester/Bronx).

For all the focus on the Democrats, a former Bush official who predicts a coming bloodbath between the White House and disgruntled conservative Republicans brushed off the Pelosi-Hoyer tussle as much ado about process.

"The Democrats are the sideshow," he said. "Bush self-destructing is the big story in town."

Ms Mustang Ranch
Cute, juvenile & asinine, but cute. Mommy tell you about that ranch, sonny?
Now if you had a clue you might know that my name has nothing to do with any house of ill repute.

She's not finn. I'm quite certain she is who she says. In any case, let's leave off with such surmises and just let the person speak. Where the posts are without value, ignore them. Where they have value, speak to them.

Sorry. I'm not at my best right now from lack of sleep. My wife is refusing to go to bed because she believes that aliens are spiriting her away at night and performing medical/sexual experiments on her. With medication and patient talk, I had her pretty much convinced that this was not really happening. Then she found the drawer full of money they have been paying me.

No apologies necessary, Bernie. 'Twas good advice.

Is that Abramoff money or does it come from one of the other myriad Republican sources?

It was from the aliens.

"Is there any difference?" you might ask. Apparently so. The aliens deny any connection whatsoever with the RNC and Jack Abramoff. They declined to comment on Paris Hilton and Ann Coulter.
