C&L brings you this CBS/NBC report from 1994. Gingrich went nuts over Clinton and his new-found subpoena power, yet if Democrats want to hold hearings on oversight and Iraq war profiteering that's supposed to hurt them.
Gingrich: "I do not know of any administration in modern times with as many different potential scandals all around it."

Newt must've not been keeping tabs on the republicans of late beginning with the Abramoff scandals. Hypocrites? I think it's a lot worse; and the American People have spoken with their votes. He let power go to his head, and it backfired big time on his party.
It suddlenly became silent on Clinton's sex affair with a woman when (R)Foley was found writing dirty to under-age teens, and their fundamentalist christians having gay sex. Funny, isn't it? The silence, I mean.
Clinton is still an ass in that regard, he just has some more new members joining him in the jerk of the month club to keep him company.
