Since their will be no Bush honeymoon, some issues will dominate the current lame-ducks. I predict it will not be Iraq but rather will be such issues as ANWAR and gulf off-shore drilling for oil. The gulf states want it for the revenues but the tree huggers oppose it for the environment. This should amount to an interesting battle between lame duck republicans incoming dems.
I think the environmentalists will get more under the dems, but doubt it'll be the defining issue for Bush's legacy. Iraq, torture of prisoners, illegal wiretaps, and the deivisions he created in our country and internationally will bear the brunt.
