Borrowing from the republican jargon, this election is neither. What it is, is a move to the middle, the yellow stripe down the middle of the road. Montana/Virgina and the govenors race in Colorado give us (we the people) nothing but non-thinking, no ideas, no direction home. I want to see a combat of ideas.

Patience man, patience. At least we have moved away from the radical religious right, which, IMO, was a very dangerous place to be!

I think it is a mandate. A mandate for change. What that change should be is up for interpretation.
