I thought that was what you meant when you said

If that's not the case, what else did you mean when you said

???

Saddam knew for YEARS that we were coming
to overthrow his dynasty; to FINISH the job that the first Bush began.
THAT was Obvious.

We were too slow in getting the war started.
Slow, but obvious.

Too slow in stopping it, also,
since we won the war when we caught Saddam;
from that time forward, he was no longer a threat.

This is hilarious. It ranks right up there with the "86% Believe President Bush's Actions Justify Impeachment" as an example of goofy self-delusion. I'll run over to that thread to laugh at them after i'm through with this.

David, what are you smokin'? The "we wanted to liberate the Iraqi people from a brutal dictator" horseshit was only trotted out after no womds were found, and no evidence to link Iraq to Al Qaeda.

This is as much an exercise in fantasy as your pro-gun rants.

For free entertainment, you can't beat this place.

The entertainment value of this site can't be overstated.

Have you seen Zippo's "86% for impeachment" thread? He is roughly the leftwing equivalent of David, here.

There is never a lack at this site, of the delusional attempting to convince everyone else to embrace the same delusion, whether they be leftwingnuts or rightwingnuts.

for cannibals, like our hungry davie, not eating your neighbor is a form of altruism.

Good point . . . he shows his charitable nature every day by not spraying the neighborhood indiscrimately with the assault rifles in his arsenal . . .

I never said that we went there for that purpose,
any more than we went to Germany nor Japan
to rid them of brutal dictators;
that was a nice side-effect ( the same as with Saddam ),
but we went to all 3 of them to defend ourselves, Chuckles.

A homicidal maniac with a grudge against us,
vast wealth, and a big interest in nukes
was an intolerable threat ( whether u find the nukes, or not ).
Chortle about that.

Tidal influences are what drive the circulation of blood through the body. The heart's function is to contain and manifest elements of soul.

Many ideas are interesting not in and of themselves. The wonderment arises because there are people who actually hold them.

And that's why we sometimes bother to read omsig.

This evening, I dined at a rather fine quality Chinese/Polynesian neighborhood restaurant.
I had a very good roast duck.

The restaurant provided me with the PERFECT fortune cookie
for Blatham, to wit:
" Strong and bitter words indicate a weak cause. "

You need to consider that before you decide to start another one of these threads.

U r very FAST, Ed.
Credit to u for that.

However, I strongly suspect that,
in your case, it applies only to the issue
of WHOSE ox is gored; i.e., u will approve if
freedom of the individual is humiliated
in subordination to the collective; not otherwise.
