I agree that "Dig 'Em" frog, Kellogg's Honey Smacks mascot, is pretty ludicrous.
Re-imagined in 1987, it appears as if Dig 'Em was supposed to capture the burgeoning mainstream New York rap scene, a la Heavy D, the Fat Boys, Biz Markee, etc. You know, silly hats and high top sneakers. Retardedly, however, Dig 'Em seemed to have a hangover from a former decade, what with his late seventies jive talk. I'd like to see him come back as a hardcore gangsta, with a bullet proof vest and baggy pants riding well below his boxer briefs. Of course, Kellog's would have to change his name to "F--k 'Em."
