what is brandy made from?
brandy is not served cold...correct??
Brandy is made from the distilled leftovers from the wine making process, specifically, the skins and vines and leaves from the initial pressing of the grapes.
You can serve brandy anyway you like. Me, I like it served in a warmed glass.
By the way, welcome to A2K.
The ladies man drink brandy, yeeeaaaahhhh. He like his COOUVAWAAHZEEAAYY.
"international conventions"?
Kinda like "international conventions" prevent me from selling software I write as Microsoft™ software?
I'm only partly kidding here.
Hi gc47,
You've got some nice information, here's a link to some moe information:
Brandy and Cognac (click)
Welcome to A2K!
Well, Russians were obliged to remove the word "cognac" from the Armenian brandy bottles that they exported to Europe. They lost a lawsuit in mid-60s.
Yeah I know. It's not exactly the same issue as a trademark but it's similar.
Exactly. The same refers to the name "champagne": not every sparkling wine of high quality may be called this way.
Steissd is right about all of that....and don't you even TRY calling your foreign sparkling wine 'Champagne'. The French are very possessive of their Terroir.
came in from a productive day in the yard...kicked back with a glass of christian brothers brandy....wooooo...that stuff was strong....kinda like cheap whiskey straight up...
several years ago, i had some brandy at a bed & breakfast in charleston, sc...good stuff...could someone tell me why this time it tastes like cheap whiskey??...
well what you doin drinkin brandy at 6 in the moanin fool?
Be like the ladies man and drink you some COUVWAAZZEAAY
Just like whiskey, there is good and bad. St. Remy and Dujardin are two mid-priced brandies that have good flavour. The other solution is to make an investment and drink Cognac.
farmerman...it was 6:00 in the evening...i didn't post until the next morning...
welI , you didnt saaeeyy so. I just went with the data presented me. I concluded therefore that you were on a somewhat different time schedule. After all, "day" is relative to your habits and lifestyle.
farmerman, how long before Courvoisier and Cristal start hiring rappers to plug their product in the States? Maybe we should start a pool...
