Seems pretty small.. (not sure if it is this exact one):
It's exactly that one.
CJ was kidding!
I really really want.
When my ship comes in, maybe...
I'm never kidding
It is big! I have this tiny Canon Powershot that's
the size of a cigarette box - fits anywhere.
When I look at my equipment ... and what it weights ... (and we'll have to walk in Augsburg next Saturday)
I think I recognize that rose, but forget its name...
Truly a gorgeous photo, Francis.
looks more like a bazooka to me !
i've pretty well given up on my 30 year old konika slr with three different lenses and just use a cheap 35 mm "owl" camera. while the pictures are not always spectaclular, it's a lot less weight to carry around and i can stick the camera in my jacket pocket. hbg
Can someone tell me how to see Francis's photos in their entirety ? I can get only portions of huge images.
Quote, "looks more like a bazooka to me!" Thanks hbg, I was going to consider buying one of those, but with my frequent travels, some of the security people might mistake it for a bazooka, and I'm not ready to take that chance. The zoom on that Dimage Z2 is impressive, and the price on that camera is pretty reasonable right now.
Proportionality hand vs camera :
Heh! Teeny!
(Do you always wear white dress shirts and black jackets, Francis?)
No Soz. But I do often, with tie.
All right, I can see it now - it is rather small!

Probably get into big trouble with Francis.
Neko, you can scroll the page sideways as well as up and down...
So, I finally finished the long, skinny garden bed between the parking lot and the sidewalk. I'll try and get some pix soon. There are now, under a good sized magnolia, VA sweetspire, siberian carpet cypress, japanese ferns and ladies' mantle. Man, was it hot!
itea virginica (VA sweetspire):
microbiota decussata (siberian carpet):
Athyrium niponicum (japanese painted fern:
I want to see more of Francis' garden!
