I kinda lost it reading over all of everyone's comments.

So here is what I got so far from David. (you seem like the popular one because you speak your mind the most I guess, so I'll just target you) All in good fun old chap Smile:

1. Obviously, David is selfish.
2. The hell with #2 and 3. Looking out for number one is nature's way.
3. Happiness good. Others bad.
4. Lots of big words= Totally smartness.

You can stop me if I ramble, oh please do.

One- Ehh, David I just think you're more honest than most people. Not so sure if your selfish though.

Two- To hell with children, let them learn to take care of themselves after birth. Parents have to look after number one! Also David, define "nature". I can think of a couple things that occupy the existence of nature.

Three- The pursuit of happiness. You know, to make you truly happy could be by helping someone else be happy. Of course, what kind of world would that turn out to be lol!

Four-Sophistication me no likey. Likey lol. Why use big words when small ones will do just fine, seriously?

This is the part of the message where I say I respect your opinions as you are your own person. Of course I do, and also I do agree with you David.

We are all naturally selfish. Because we are all naturally flawed. Hey, noone is perfect, but we try. Though, being honest is one thing, but embracing your flaws as your way of life is another.

Auf wiedersehen, und God bless. (I hope I didn't ramble anywhere in there Sad )

Yeah, thanx; its good to be recognized for our efforts.

I 've always done my best at that.
Practice makes perfect.

Yeah !
I 'll accept that as an exhortation !

Your logic is inexorable !

or total smartness = lots of big words being generated

NO; u r obviously the sagest contributor to this forum !

Quintessentially so
Once on the morning of New Year 's Day,
I was walking in Manhattan,
when a lad, about 25, Irish looking red hair,
approached me for a handout.

I gave him $5.
He seemed to like it.
I told him: " There 's something that I want u to DO."
He asked me what.
I requested of him that he have a very HAPPY New Year.
He reacted with more intense emotion
to the words than to the cash.

I enjoyed that experience.

Parents have to look after number one!

Thay shud,
but having brought children into earthly existence,
as invited guests, thay shud be given reasonable accomodation.
If u host a party, u shud not leave your guests
to stand there idly, with no food nor drink at hand.

Do u deny that ?

Also David, define "nature".
I can think of a couple things that occupy the existence of nature.

It is the force that brought forth life upon the Planet Earth,
and within whose ambience it continues.

Three- The pursuit of happiness.
You know, to make you truly happy could be by helping someone else be happy.

I have found that to be TRUE.
I have given my friends automatic umbrellas,
secretly stuffed with $10s, $20s, $50s n $100 bills,
and advised them to try them b4 going outdoors.

( One young lady, who obstinately resisted my advice,
did not try hers, until she went outside,
n had a merry time chasing her funds
in the breezes of the day, but I respect her freedom of choice. )

Some words r more successful than others,
in precise and thorough conveyance of ideas,
irrespective of length.

Thank u; in that case,
I reciprocally agree with u.

Okay, so I think you hold selfishness to a certain degree.

Totally smartness = grammatically cool Cool

Sagest contributor to this forum- Flattery will get you no where....go on.

"The complexity therefore established is so atrociously inaccurate that it resides in an atmosphere of complete enamoration and vivacious deplorability."

OR

These false complicated things live in a bad environment.

Could use those bigger and more complicated words (if they "are" words) or just put it more simply Shocked was all I was saying

One could say that such attitudes are in low demand
Or something like; Oh intricate and complex little plan
Inspires tarts to ill demeanor
Searching for a surface cleaner
White, untainted, new and yours
Come to by wielding blunt force
A place so clean and so alone
That it can't be shared by anyone
And so it's written in wet sand
That such attitudes are in low demand

BLAH!

I just made that up on the spot.

You see my point though...

There is a time to sound worldly wise about the english language and times to portray one's voice in a way that can be understood by everyone.

Maybe it is just because I'm a writer and I have pay attention to these things.
