If you contribute to the Humane Society, please continue to do so - but don't confuse them for the HSUS - they are not the same thing. HSUS's primary goal is to end all forms of hunting, and then, to make people stop eating meat altogether. They are not affiliated in any way with the animal shelter/Humane Society down the street.
